Stewardship lessons – coming to your group soon!

The Idlewild Foundation has made motivating, educating and facilitating generosity our mission.  We are on mission as much as possible, even on Sunday morning teaching Idlewild Groups (formerly Adult Bible Fellowship class and even before that, Sunday School or Bible Study) on the joy of generosity.  We have been doing this for five years as requested by small group leaders. These are highly interactive and personal lessons that challenge every Idlewild member to think and pray about the blessings God has given us and how we should hold “our stuff” loosely.  It really isn’t our stuff anyway:

I Chronicles 29:11-12

Everything in the heavens and earth is Yours, O Lord,

And this is Your Kingdom.

We adore You as being in control of everything.

Riches and honor come from You alone,

and You are the ruler of all mankind;

Your hand controls power and might,

And it is at Your discretion

that men are made great and given strength.
